What to Expect
Therapy is a collaborative process. You bring the expertise of your lived experience, and I bring my knowledge and tools—we work together as a team. Our sessions won’t feel like the clichés you’ve seen on TV. You won’t be lying on a couch while I endlessly ask, “How does that make you feel?” Nor is it a space for family-bashing or prescriptive advice.
Instead, therapy with me is about creating a space where you’re in the driver’s seat. I’ll guide, encourage, and support you as we explore the areas of your life that matter most.
In our sessions, you might laugh, you might cry, and you’ll have the space to talk about both the big, complex issues and the smaller, everyday challenges. Some sessions will be about diving deep into your story; others might focus on the conversations or decisions you’re facing right now. You set the pace, and I’ll tailor the experience to what feels right for you—whether that’s reflective journal prompts, practical tools to try between sessions, or simply holding space for exploration.
Practicalities

All sessions are conducted securely online via a client portal. Unfortunately, I’m unable to work with clients in the USA due to licensing and insurance restrictions.

Our first session is a chance to lay the groundwork for our work together. We’ll go over any necessary paperwork, get to know each other, and begin exploring your needs and goals. I’ll also take time to understand how you best learn and process, so we can shape therapy to suit you.

I recommend weekly sessions for the first 8 weeks to maintain momentum. After that, we can assess whether fortnightly sessions might work better for you as we move forward.
Session Details
Duration: 50 minutes
Fees: £120 per session (I do not accept insurance)
Cancellations: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid being charged the full session fee.
